Marble floor and a walk-in shower

MARBLE FLOOR AND A WALK-IN SHOWER

A simple palette and minimal accessories make this bathroom feel elegant and luxurious. The walls are covered with tadelakt plaster which reflects light beautifully. The walk-in shower has no door, this makes the space appear larger, and perhaps even a little more enticing.

Aubergine lacquer and marble floors

AUBERGINE LACQUER AND MARBLE FLOORS

Aubergine may seem like an unusual choice for the bathroom but the lacquer finish on the walls brings light to this otherwise deep, rich colour. This tiny - and distinctly windowless - space is finished with a beautiful lighting scheme and floors of Calacatta marble. What a little dream of luxury!

Wallpaper from Brunschwig & Fils lines the walls of this powder room. The gilt accessories glitter like jewelry in a box. A window would make the dazzling effect near blinding, thankfully this groundfloor room has none.

BLACK BATHROOM WITH MONOCHROME FLOOR

Why not make a small bathroom a place where you can experiment with bold colour? Take this tiny windowless room designed by Suzy Hoodless. Adhering to the time-honoured rule that if a room is already dark there is no off-white on earth that will change it, seductive black walls have been combined with good lighting, plenty of mirror and chic, unfussy fittings. The scheme is anchored by monochrome cement tiles from Popham Design.
