The holiday season is the perfect time to go a little wild decorating your home. These easy Christmas bathroom decorating ideas are inexpensive and a quick way to spruce up your home for the holidays. Whether you are getting ready for a Christmas party or just want to spread some cheer for your holiday house guests these Christmas bathroom ideas are fun and festive.

The holidays are quickly approaching and that means friends and family will be coming to visit and celebrate. Part of being a great host is making sure your guests feel comfortable in your home.

I tend to go a little crazy with decorating for the holidays and today I’m sharing a tour of my holiday bathroom decor.

I hauled out the decorations and got to work. I started with the mirror and sink area. I hung some plastic snowflakes from the ceiling on the mirror side of the bathroom.

Stockings were hung on the shower curtain with care. They don’t interfere if someone wants to take a shower and it’s a nice alternative if you don’t want to buy a Christmas themed shower curtain. Extra ornaments are another decoration you can easily hang onto the shower curtain hooks.

Above the cabinet I placed some of our snow globes and a small woodland squirrel.

Wreaths are always an attractive and easy decorating idea. I bought a few basic faux evergreen wreaths and added some flowers and pine cones from the dollar store to jazz them up a bit.

On the opposite wall I hung another homemade wreath and added a real poinsettia and fake white tree on top of the vanity. The little gnome is actually a candle.

The Fa La La La La garland was plain wood but I painted it red and green and strung it across the mirror. I bought it at Joanne Fabrics.
